System Tags

To edit and or create Themes, start by selecting Theme Builder from the Dashboard. You can edit live or download edit and reupload your html and css files.

General Meta Tags  - Used for all other sitewide meta tags

{metageneral} - additional site-wide meta tags located in HTML head

NOINDEX meta tag -When a page checked to not be searchable in QixSite Pages, This code adds the no follow text. Note: BEGIN and END Lables are required.

Header and Footer Scripts

Header and footer scripts are used to add additional scripts in the head and the end of a page.

Tag
Usage
{headerscripts}
Use to allow QixSite administered site-wide scripts located in the HTML head, like webstats and other javascript files.
{footerscripts}
Use to allow QixSite administered site-wide footer scripts for use by scripts like Google Analytics Should always be located at the bottom/end of a page


Blocks

Blocks are use to mange and add reusable content to Captavi QixSuite. Currently there are three types of Blocks, Menu Blocks - use to manage menus; Content Blocks - used to manage banners and other content; Element Blocks - commonly use to manage custom variables of JQuery (i.e. banner rotation). Block Tags are used to assign the location for the Blocks in a Theme. Template Builder uses the Theme, and Blocks content are manage from the Captavi QixSuite Dashboard under QixSite: Block Manager .

 

Menu Blocks Location Tags

Menu Block Location Tags are location tags used in Themes to assign the location for the Menu Block content that are assigned in a Template. There are  6 possible menu block location tags that can be coded into a Theme.

{menu_header} Can be located anywhere on a template for menu assignment in Template Builder
{menu_page} Can be located anywhere on a template for menu assignment in Template Builder
{menu_extra} Can be located anywhere on a template for menu assignment in Template Builder
{menu_footer} Can be located anywhere on a template for menu assignment in Template Builder
{menu_subfooter} Can be located anywhere on a template for menu assignment in Template Builder


Content Block Location Tags

Content Block Location Tags are location tags used in Themes to assign the location of Content Block content. There are 5 possible Content Block location tags that can be added into a Theme.

{content_block_left} Can be located anywhere on a Theme for menu assignment in Template Builder
{content_block_right} Can be located anywhere on a Theme for menu assignment in Template Builder
{content_block_top} Can be located anywhere on a Theme for menu assignment in Template Builder
{content_block_bottom} Can be located anywhere on a Theme for menu assignment in Template Builder
{content_block_extra} Can be located anywhere on a Theme for menu assignment in Template Builder

Element Block Location Tags are location tags used in Themes to assign the location of Element Block Content. There are 5 possible ElementBlock location tags that can be added into a Theme.

Feature Widget Tags

Features Widgets are abbreviated Component content listings to that can be located in Themes.

{events_feature} Dynamically displays QixReg and Qixsite:Calendar Component in a listing format. Can be located anywhere in a Theme.
{calendar_feature} Dynamically displays QixReg and Calendar Component in a calendar format. Can be located anywhere in a Theme.
{polls_feature} Dynamically displays the polling Component on page. Can be located anywhere in a Theme.
{news_feature} Dynamically displays Qixsite:New's Component in a listing format. Can be located anywhere on a Theme.
{articles_feature} Dynamically displays Qixsite:Articles' Component in a listing format.Can be located anywhere in a Theme.
{blogs_feature} Dynamically displays Qixsite:Blog's Component in a listing format.Can be located anywhere in a Theme.
{forums_feature} Dynamically displays QixCommunity's Component in a listing format. Can be located anywhere in a Theme.
{contactus} Allows the display of a contact us form with a captacha. Can be located anywhere on a Theme.
{subscribe_feature} Allows the display of a minimal subscribe/optin form with a captacha. Can be located anywhere on a Theme.

 

Login/Log Out Tags

Login and Log Out tags allow the display

Use to display the name of a logged in Contact. If not logged in will display Guest instead of a Contact name.

In Page and Content Tags

Random Number - {random_number}
Used for Images, Quotes, and other items that you wish to have a ramdom image display on each refresh. Use in Headers, Footers, and Indextemplate.

  1. Your asset must be named with a number starting with 1 and do not skip and number or you will have missing images (filename1.jpg, filename2.jpg, filename3.jpg).
  2. In yourhtml use fliename{random_number}.jpg
  3. In Site Settings, set the random number to teh exaxt number of image you have.

Page ID - {pageid}

Use anytime you would like to add a page specific asset or code. To use this in for jpg images you would imagename{page_id}.jpg

Site URL {siteurl} & Name {sitename}

This will use the site url that is set in the metasetting under account information. Use this so that when a sites url changes (ie IP to url) only the setting need to be changed. it also will give you the sites root as appose to a relative url.
